The BIO-350 Portable Water Quality Biological Toxicity Analyzer is an instrument specifically designed for quickly determining the comprehensive toxicity level of water bodies on-site and in the wild. It adopts the luminescent bacteria method, which conforms to the national standard (GB/T15441-1995) and the international ISO standard (ISO 11348-3). It has the characteristics of simple operation, rapidity, sensitivity, the ability to detect the comprehensive biological toxicity of various substances, and the capability to rapidly assess water quality safety. It is widely applied in scenarios such as environmental pollution early warning, emergency monitoring, rapid screening of water quality biological toxicity, and biological analysis and research.
Performance Characteristics
uGood Portability
uThe instrument is compact, convenient, and allows for quick operation.
uWide Detection Range
uIt is highly responsive to various heavy metals, organic substances and other chemical substances.
uLong-lasting Battery Life
uIt has a powerful battery capacity and is convenient for USB charging.
uGood Compatibility
uIt is compatible with ATP detection, enabling one device to serve multiple functions.
uHigh Sensitivity
uThe detection sensitivity is close to the range of human sensitivity to toxicity.

uMeasurement Principle: For comprehensive toxicity detection, luminescent bacteria are used as biological sensors. The comprehensive toxicity of the sample is tested by measuring the degree of weakening of the luminescence after mixing the luminescent bacteria with the sample to be tested. For total biomass detection, the ATP bioluminescence method is adopted.
uWorking Environment: 5~40°C, 10%~90%RH
uFastest Detection Time: 5 minutes
uSpectral Range: 300-1100 nm
uTypes of Toxic Substances that can be Detected: More than 5,000 kinds
uRelative Luminescence Intensity: 0-65535 RLU
uInhibition Rate: -100%~100%
uLuminescence Inhibition Rate of Clear Water: ≤ ±5%.
uBacteria Storage Temperature: It can be stored at -18°C for one year.
uDetection Range: It can detect the acute toxicity caused by heavy metal ions, pesticides such as organophosphorus, organic and inorganic toxic substances, etc.
uPrecision: Relative standard deviation < 10% (2mg/L ZnSO₄·7H₂O); when measuring actual water samples, the absolute value of the relative deviation < ±15%, and the toxicity range of non-toxic water samples ≤ 15%.
uApplicable Bacterial Strains: Vibrio qinghaiensis, Photobacterium phosphoreum (in line with GB/T15441-1995) or Vibrio fischeri (in line with ISO 11348-3)
uCommunication Interfaces: USB, Bluetooth, WIFI, 4G, etc., and it can be connected to a Bluetooth printer to directly print the data results.
